03 Feb IMR welcomes Kaizen PLM as Platinum Tier Member
Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) are delighted to welcome Kaizen PLM as their newest Platinum Tier Member. Through the partnership with Kaizen PLM, IMR will have full access to a broad suite of cutting-edge Siemens PLM Software that enables a wide range of Industry 4.0 applications from Virtual Commissioning to Digital Twins.
Micheal Cassidy, CTO of IMR notes, “We have been working closely with Kaizen PLM for some time, using Siemens PLM software to tackle real digitisation challenges with several of our manufacturing industry partners. This collaboration has helped us deliver highly impactful results in areas such as production line simulation and workforce optimisation.”
Micheal continues, “Kaizen PLM joining IMR as a platinum member takes the collaboration to the next level and is going to enable IMR to support Irish manufacturing industries in developing a pathway to digital twins across multiple areas, designing and simulating complex machined and additively manufactured parts, and to support Industry in the area of Virtual Commissioning. We worked closely with Anthony O’Riordan to select a portfolio of software that was specifically aimed at demonstrating the key challenges facing Irish Industry across multiple sectors, from Medical Devices to Aerospace”.
Anthony O’Riordan, Technical Director of Kaizen PLM explains, “Kaizen PLM are delighted to join forces with IMR to help IMR and their associates to quickly get up to speed with a range of tools developed by Siemens digital industries software. Siemens Digital Industries is a leading innovator in automation and digitalization and through this partnership we will work with IMR to deliver class leading CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM and virtual commissioning packages to Irish Industry. These are the same commercial software packages used globally by industry giants and forward thinking SMB’s that need to increase the speed of innovation, enhance product performance, increase manufacturing efficiencies and reduce cost”
The software provided includes:
