Renishaw RenAM 500M

What it is

The RenAM 500M is a laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing system designed for deployment into manufacturing environments. It has a 500W laser that can operate in a modulated and continuous mode, an automated powder handling system and a state of the art in process monitoring infrastructure.

What it’s used for in IMR

We use the RenAM 500M to develop product and process that enable companies to adopt it as a form of manufacturing. Focusing on the production of titanium parts, we develop process parameters and use the in-built process monitoring software to develop production ready data.
