The Universal Robots, UR3, UR5, and UR10e are flexible and lightweight robotic arms that are easily integrated into existing production environments. These robot arms are designed for collaborative operations through their inherent compliance and force detection. The UR3, UR5 & UR10e robots are easy to program, offer fast set-up, feature safety configuration for collaborative applications, and have the potential to offer fast payback time.
The UR3, UR5 &UR10e industrial robot arms are used to quickly prototype and de-risk complex robotics applications. They are well-suited to automate repetitive and dangerous tasks with payloads of up to 3, 5, and 10 kg respectively, and to optimise low-weight collaborative processes, such as picking, placing, and testing.
In IMR, the 2 UR3 and the UR5 robots are currently used for various projects, demonstrators & workshops, among which the MAAS project, the Bin Picking Studio Demonstrator and the Innovation through Robotics training.
The UR10e is deployed in the Cobot cell to showcase the use of Collaborative Robotic manipulators working safely in a dynamic, human friendly environment. The UR10e manipulator is complemented by sensors such as cameras, lasers, and fast real-time controllers to stop and re-route the path for the manipulator safely.
