What the Mills SYNERGi Cell is
The Mills SYNERGi Cell is an automated part handling system that is fully integrated into CNC machine tools. SYNERGi Premier systems can be integrated with a Doosan lathe, machining centre or mill-turn machine. They can also be integrated with more than one machine.
The system features a Fanuc industrial robot, a five (two-way) drawer system for part loading/unloading and a 17” touchscreen with onboard SYNERGi software
What the Mill SYNERGi Premier is used for in IMR
Combined with the existing Mills Doosan Puma 2600SY, the machine will be used to demonstrate the latest technology in CNC machine automation. It will also be used to conduct research to develop solutions to overcome everyday challenges identified by industry to integrating automation systems on their factory floor.
