The KUKA AGILUS KR3, KR4 and KR6 are compact industrial robots of respectively 3, 4, and 6 kg payload. The compactness combined with a repeatability accuracy of 0.02mm, make the AGILUS suites suitable for assembly and manipulation tasks of small, high precision components
The KUKA KR3, KR4 and KR6 robots are used for high-speed, high-precision automated applications. Deployed for feasibility studies, the AGILUS robots allow to estimate the cycle time of fixed automation concepts.
Currently, the KUKA KR6 is deployed in the FerrTest project to automate the dispensing process by handling the input & output placement of trays of products. The KUKA KR4 is part of the Telebot cell, which showcases teleoperation in manipulating objects remotely, such as in clean room environments, and in tasks that require subhuman levels of precision.
The KUKA KR3 is used in a demonstrative assembly line of Industry 4.0, where it is programmed to pick, scan and sort components into the appropriate bins in an efficient manner.
