What it is
The EOS P396 is a laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing system. With a large build volume of 320mm*320mm*600mm and the ability to use a range of nylon materials, it has found itself operating as both a prototyping and production technology.
What it’s used for in IMR
We use the EOS P396 to develop product and process that enable companies to adopt it as a form of manufacturing. Focusing on the production of nylon parts, we characterise and understand the entire process window so that it can be implemented into production in a controlled way.
