CSA – Industry 4.E

Context

The CSA – Industry 4.E project is funded ECSEL JU via Horizon 2020 to for the Coordination and Support Action (CSA) to bring together relevant RDI projects funded across various funding programmes helping them to connect with each other and the end-user/stakeholder community. The project has 5 European partners and is led by Irish Manufacturing Research. It was awarded €500k EU funding it will run between 2018-2021.

Aim

The Industry4.E aim is to establish a more connected community of relevant RDI across various funding programmes (i.e. ECSEL and H2020) to enable them to connect with each other and the end-user/stakeholder community. IMR aim to successfully coordinate this project to establish a more connected community of ECSEL projects to optimise outcomes.

Impact

The expected impacted of the project is the establishment of a connected Industry 4.e community across Europe. It would be achieved by supporting the LIASE in establishing the Industry 4.e Lighthouse while actively assisting and enabling successful execution of the Digital Industry roadmap. This would also be achieved to the work of engaging research communities and facilitating Industry4.E projects to effectively exploit project results. Additionally, the project partners are working to promote the Lighthouse visibility and develop and implement a public engagement and outreach strategy to raise the visibility of Industry4.E to the broader public and related initiatives.
